On Monday, October 13th (don't worry about the world ending today - it's already tomorrow in New Zealand) we visited 3 Auckland area gardens: Totara Waters, Eden Gardens, and Ayrlies. We finished the day with a lovely dinner at the home of the president of the Auckland Rhododendron Association.
Here are just a few of Garth's photos from yesterday. More to come later - gotta get to the bus for the airport and our flight to New Plymouth.
P.S. You know how you hear so much about how friendly Kiwis are? So far - it's ALL TRUE!

You guys are terrific photographers! Thanks for sharing your images here. As long as I (Paul) can remember, I've wanted to visit New Zealand. That may never happen, but I'm enjoying this beautiful country vicariously through your lenses and your comments. Yesterday was a red letter day for us. I drove our brand new Bolero from Dehradun to Mussoorie. I'll send an email with a couple of pics.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. I love seeing the world through your eyes.
